While the rest of Glastonbury were bagging their specs for Beyonce the Devil headed for the alternative pastures of the BBC Introducing Stage to bring the weekend to a truly independent end.

With a maturity beyond his years Jake Bugg (he's not long left school!) stunned those lucky enough to be present for his short set. A Glastonbury star is born.

A perplexing pot puorri of eastern musical influences, rap (courtesy of Aggi Dukes), classical music and tea chest percussion. Possibly the strangest act I caught at Glastonbury over the three days.
