Milk Maid is ex Nine Black Alps bass player Martin Cohen's new project. With melodies that make you giddy and a guitar so laid back it's practically horizontal it's about as far as you can get from his former band. New single Not Me is a blast of fuzzy pop sounds like the Beach Boys played through gauze by the Jesus and Mary Chain. The other track (or b-side for those of you of more advanced years) That's Not Thinking starts off like the brother of Smells Like Teen Spirit before deciding that it'd rather live it's life as a Creation records tribute act.
