Headless Horseman is an adventure girlpop duo. Conner O’Neill and Fareed Sajan, both born on Halloween, began HH at Halloween Adventure near Union Square after they were hired (solely based on their birthdays) for the busy month of October 2010. With such influences as Aphex Twin, Xiu Xiu & Sigur Ros, HH can be considered glitch pop with soul injected in their veins. The duo specializes in homemade electronic music that is pre-synthesizer craze and their songs feature BPM shifting big-beats, baritone ukelele, soaring pop falsetto vocals and tons of crazy percussion. Headless Horseman is their name, and being headless themselves is their belief. They are blind and headless on their journey, they make mistakes and craft those human mishaps into what they are and what they sing. Human glitch is what they achieve live.
