Indianapolis quartet We Are Hex (first featured on the Devil's blog way back in April 2009, It's A Kinda Magic) have been keeping themselves busy these last few months. They've released their acclaimed sophomore album "Hail The Goer", on (My Old Kentucky Blog's) Roaring Colonel Records, and toured their asses off.

All this effort has not gone unnoticed and they have been invited to record a new 7" with a well known musician to be released this year. The identity of the mystery man will be revealed in the not too distant future. The as-of-yet untiled 7" will be recorded this month, though no release date is currently scheduled.

The latest tracks are a unique mix of Patti Smith at her most extreme, Siouxsie and the Banshees and Pink Military Stand Alone and they've certainly tickled my musical g-spot.
