Regular readers of the Devil's blog will already know that I am partial to the unfairly neglected but surely soon to be huge Brute Chorus. Their latest single 'Birdman' from their second album How The Caged Bird Sings is a rocking foot stomper that twitches and jerks like a marionette on crystal meth. It's a refreshing white knuckle ride back to the 50s with more energy than the Duracell bunny olympics. If it doesn't get your foot stomping then you may need to see a doctor. If you prefer your sound a little more contemporary then check out the Awesome New Republic (featured on the Devil's blog way back in 2009, Vive La Republique) remix which is, well, awesome.
